I am a sound designer and audio producer currently based in Amsterdam where I studied audio production and sound engineering at the SAE Institute. My interest in music has led me to play various instruments as well as study music psychology and musicology. I researched how music can affect our emotional state to create strong experiences as well as brain activity while listening to music. I came to see music as a form of language, a deeply emotional means of conveying a mood or communicating an idea.
For the last 10 years, working together with Artist Media (www.artist.ee) I have been involved with background music and in-store audio solutions for the retail industry in Estonia. I have also been involved in creating audio branding strategies and sound design concepts as well as custom soundscapes for various companies ranging from shopping centres to health spas. I believe music has the ability to complement and enhance our everyday experiences, creating a more pleasant and functional sonic environment.
